KIMBER’S PICKS

  • November 9 – Ride at Crescent Ballroom
  • November 16 – Here We Go Magic at Valley Bar

LINDSAY’S PICKS

  • November 1 – Together Pangea at The Rebel Lounge
Loud, rowdy fun is a Together Pangea show! Think Pavement meets Nirvana.
  • November 4 – Pure Bathing Culture at Rhythm Room
Loving their brand new album. It’s shimmery, catchy, and who doesn’t love a reason to go to the Rhythm Room!
  • November 23 – Holly Golightly at Valley Bar
One of the more underrated, prolific, songstresses of our time. Holly Golightly has been cranking out masterpieces since the early 90s. She is a master of ramshackle country, punk and pop ditties and is sure to put on a grand ol’ time.

DARIO’S PICKS

  • November 14 & 15 – Downtown Chamber Series with Tobie Milford at Legend City Gallery
The Downtown Chamber Series has been one of my favorite things happening in Phoenix for the past 15 years. This is exactly why we live in a big city. I’m excited to experience this collaborative effort with Tobie Milford, as well as some other amazing music.
  • November 16 – Here We Go Magic at Valley Bar
Here We Go Magic carries the torch for earlier synth pop bands like Stereolab and Talking Heads, with hypnotic repetition and hints of folk and rock. Lead singer and songwriter, Luke Temple, got his start painting murals, traveling the country, performing and recording songs more fitting to a road weary troubadour. More grounded now, his music has taken on more weight, sonically and lyrically.

JEFF’S PICKS

  • November 9 – Hibou at Pub Rock
The new Hibou record is amazing and they were great a couple months ago at The Rebel Lounge! Dreamy beach pop at its finest.
  • November 11 – The Fall of Troy at Club Red
Haven’t seen Fall of Troy in years – and they’re playing Doppleganger in its entirety? Amazing.
