Tonight Stinkweeds will host Lil Bobby Jr And The Horsey House Band & Friends in celebration of their new release on Moone Records (Phoenix) in partnership with Emotional Response (Flagstaff). The new album We Don’t Belong Together is a collaboration of a “who’s who” of Arizona’s dreamy, twangy and delightfully bummed out players. The result is a cavernous desert sound full of big, slow and low guitar strums, reverb drenched pedal steel guitar and weepy, haunting voices, singing wistful songs of cowboys in existential crisis. Collaborators include members of Cherie Cherie, Giant Sand, Christian Family, Gene Tripp & Roar, with Lonna Kelley, Jay Huffman, Matt Wiser, Ann Seletos and Owen Evans adding that Phoenix touch to this Tucson artist.

Also sharing the evening will be Gene Tripp and The Wanda Junes, who will be joined by members of the Horsey House band as well as members of Bear State and Cherie Cherie.

Doors open at 8pm – show starts at 830pm. Suggested $5 donation.
