Dario is out of town and it is up to myself, newest staff member Paula, to try my hand at one of his famous blog posts! Filling Dario’s shoes is not something I can really do physically, but I will try my best to do so through writing.

This is part two of the Little Descriptors series in which we highlight lesser known albums that we think are worth listening to. Last time we focused on local bands, this week’s theme is folk! These albums may have as little or as much to with folk as can be, but we tend to think they fit the style. Utilizing brief phrases and little drawings, the hope is that you’ll be able to get a sense of a record you’ve never before listened to or perhaps even heard of. The goal would then be that the small sense spurs you forward to make an adventurous decision in taking a chance on some new music. There are many records in our bins that I myself look over without a second thought. This ongoing project is as much for us here at the store as it is for you! We continue to find new favorites in our miscellaneous sections. These sections are full of well-kept musical secrets.

All items listed below can be found in our regular rock/pop area.

Again let it be stressed that we have done our best to keep these descriptors to 5 words or less, but you know how it goes.
