We’re giving first pick of RSD items to a lucky caller THIS SATURDAY 9/19! Call us between 10:30am and 11am on Saturday 9/19 for a chance to win! The 33rd caller will have access to all the Exclusive RSD DROP items BEFORE ANYONE ELSE! (If you win, we won’t be taking your RSD Exclusive requests till the morning of Record Store Day, so no need to have your list ready, quite yet. We’ll fill you in on the details.)
As excited as we are to give someone this opportunity, we’re also doing this to test out our new phone system. As some of you who called on the last RSD Drop might know, we had some issues with our phone lines. Well, we think we’ve worked out all the bugs and we really want to give this a solid test before RSD. So, your call will also help us provide the best possible service for the upcoming record store day drops.

If you’re wondering what happened to Record Store Day or if you think you missed it in the confusion of quarantine, YOU’RE IN LUCK! For those who don’t know, Record Store Day has been broken up into 3 separate dates, (8/29 – 9/26 – 10/24), to make the shopping experience more manageable for participating stores. They’re calling these days “Record Store Day Drops”. Instead of putting everything out on one day, we’ll be selling select RSD items, spread out over three separate dates. We’ll give you a rundown of how things will be working for Stinkweeds.

Plans for September 26th Record Store Day Drop #2: As always, Stinkweeds is planning to have a great fill of limited releases! Things will happen a bit differently this time, so please DON’T SHOW UP at the shop! We can’t be having all you lovely people in our store or in line at our store- we want you to stay safe, so we have a plan in place!
From 7:00-9:00AM on 9/26 – CALL US AT THE SHOP! YES, WE’VE IMPROVED OUR PHONE SYSTEM! For those of you who called on the August Record Store Day Drop and had trouble getting through, we have improved our phone system and it should be working much better! So, give us a call at 602-248-9461. We will be taking RSD orders by phone for the first two hours. We will not take any orders in person, so please stay home and give us a call! In order to help us get to everyone in a timely manner, please familiarize yourself with the list and be ready to give us your wish list in alphabetical order and please have your payment info ready (Credit Card preferred. No cash). We will have multiple phone lines open. If you don’t get through on the first try, keep trying. We will be moving fast. All AM PHONE orders will be available for pick-up later that day, starting at 1pm, but can be picked up anytime we’re open, the rest of the week. We’re happy to keep your order on hold. Your little bag of RSD joy will be waiting for you, just as you requested over the phone. FIRST 24 CUSTOMERS TO CALL IN THEIR ORDERS GET A RSD GOODIE BAG!
STARTING AT 10:00AM on Saturday 9/26: All RSD sales will move to our website. At this time you will no longer be able to reserve items over the phone.
–Online orders made the day of Record Store Day will be for LOCAL PICKUP ONLY! WE WILL NOT SHIP ANY ORDERS PLACED ON SATURDAY 9/27. In the spirit of Record Store Day, we want to give our local customers the best chance to get the things they want. These items can then be picked up the next day (Sunday 9/27) starting at 10am.
-Starting Sunday, mailorder customers can place orders for RSD titles to be shipped.
-SAME RULES APPLY FOR ALL RSD PURCHASES MADE ON THESE RECORD STORE DAY DROPS. YOU CAN PURCHASE AS MANY DIFFERENT RELEASES AS YOU WANT BUT ONLY 1 COPY OF EACH TITLE. NO HOLDS, NO PRE-ORDERS, FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED. IF YOU BREAK ANY OF THESE RULES ONLINE, YOUR ENTIRE ORDER IS SUBJECT TO BE CANCELED. NO JOKE, PLEASE DON’T EVEN TRY.
